Twin Dragons Wrap Around the Pillar
- Whilst Keeping The Nine Gates Open
Start as in Wild Goose Sweeps Its Wings: lift both wrists laterally to shoulder height.

Shift the weight to the left (or right) make sure the hips stay level and straight (in relation to the toes).

When the weight is fully shifted to the side make sure a line can be drawn perpendicularly from the centre of the heel, through the knee, hip and shoulder.

Once the leg has assumed this position it should not move.

Next rotate the shoulders allowing the spine to pivot on its own axis.

Drop the hands and allow them to wrap like streamers around the trunk.

Re-establish central balance and repeat.

Four key words should be used to remember this sequence:

1. LIFT - The Hands (Central Balance)
2. SHIFT - The Weight
3. TURN - The Waist (From The Shoulders)
4. DROP - The Hands
