Reeling of Silk
The hands reel silk whilst swaying with the breeze
"The feet follow the square, the hands follow the circle."
The object of this exercise is to distinguish Yin/Yang along a left right axis.
1. Start as in Wild Goose Sweeps Its Wings.
2. Shift the weight to the left (or right) leg, make sure the pelvic girdle remains on the same plane, parallel with the toes and at the same height throughout the exercise.
3. Allow the left hand to float forward and upward to shoulder height in the longest possible forward arc lead by the wrist with the elbow and fingers trailing.
4. Upon reaching shoulder height sink the elbow and draw the wrist back slightly allowing the fingers to assume a position parallel to the floor.
5. Sink the wrists so that the fingers assume a posture 45deg to the floor.
6. mDraw the elbow back allowing the hand to sink to a position beside the left hip. Let the hand relax and hang behind the body.
7. Shift right and repeat to the right side of the body.
